Temporarily suspending our sales

On behalf of OLSOFT, we would like to inform you that we are temporarily suspending our sales to modernize and improve our products to be compatible with the latest versions of Microsoft Office Excel. We will launch sales of updated products very soon.

Setup files updated

The setup files of all our products have been updated: broken links to the Microsoft web-site (occured during the installation procedure) have been fixed. Version numbers have not changed (except for DownloaderXL Pro). Relates to new installations (no need to update for current users).

New version of RTQuotesXL Pro released.

New version of RTQuotesXL Pro has been released: 8.0.0.
RTQuotesXL Pro now downloads data from Alpha Vantage (a personal API key is required which is available for free upon request). The full list of eligible symbols is available here. 
All license holders of RTQuotesXL Pro can update their current versions for free.

New version of DownloaderXL Pro downloads cryptocurrencies.

New version (7.0.8) of DownloaderXL Pro have been released. New data source added: CryptoCompare (free historical cryptocurrency prices). Since this is a new data source, it runs in beta mode for the moment. Please update your copies (be sure to uninstall the outdated version from your system before a new installation).

New version of BulkQuotesXL Pro released: 7.0.9.

New version (7.0.9) of BulkQuotesXL Pro have been released. Fixed: bug with direction of calculating TA fuctions. Please update your copies (be sure to uninstall the outdated version from your system before a new installation).

There may be some delay (or even a download error - please try once more) during the first data download. Please update your copies. Yahoo Finance historical prices download issue

Yahoo Finance have recently introduced some restrictions for downloading their historical data via API.

We are working on fixing this issue and/or finding alternative data sources.

New version of RTQuotesXL Pro (7.0.5) has been released. Changes: logging feature is removed; some small improvements. All license-holders of the above product can update their copy for free.

New IBXL version released

New version 1.0.9 of IBXL is released. Major fixes in compatibility with the latest version of TWS has been made. We recommend all users to update their versions of IBXL, TWS, and IB API Software.

Some bugs in "Column-by-column" template are fixed.

DownloaderXL Pro is updated

The new version 7.0.3 of DownloaderXL Pro is released.
New feature is added: downloading the price data for a specific option call/put symbol instead of the complete price data table.
The syntax should be as follows: <ticker symbol>!<call or put symbol>, for example MSFT!MSFT121020P00045000 for Yahoo! Finance (Options) data source.

Main changes made:
- Software code has been optimized.

Users can use VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) to build strategies for BacktestingXL Pro. However, VBA knowledge is optional - in addition to using VBA-constructed trading rules, you can construct trading rules on a spreadsheet using standard pre-made backtesting codes.
